OneDrive
One person's OneDrive as a storage target. Sign in once; Caryvane holds a refresh token and uses it for every job and drive that names this target.
What you need #
- The Microsoft account that owns the OneDrive (a work account for OneDrive for Business).
- Optionally the user's email (UPN), which lets an administrator's sign-in address another user's business OneDrive.
Add it as a storage target #
- Storage → Add → OneDrive → Connect Microsoft Account.
- Sign in in the tab that opens; for a business account an administrator may need to consent once for the tenant.
- Test.
Test on the target's row proves the credentials; a target that fails shows the provider's own message until it is fixed. From then on it can be a job's destination, a cloud-to-cloud source, a cloud drive, or an archive.

Things to know #
Backing up OneDrive for a whole organisation is what the Microsoft 365 connector is for — one consent, every user, new starters included. A OneDrive storage target is for one account, or for using OneDrive as a destination.
Files On-Demand. The target reads OneDrive through Graph, so it sees every file whether or not it is downloaded on any PC. (A Files job on a PC sees only what is downloaded, and reports the placeholders as skipped.)
